Why choose Xifotografie?

When people hear that I am a photographer, the first thing they often ask is: “Oh, do you photograph weddings?” Well, no. Not anymore at least. When I left photography school, that was the first thing I was asked to do. I photographed a few, but it turned out not to be my cup of tea. Too many people, no influence on the environment, and too little time for real connection. That was also the case with school photography, event photography, corporate photography, mini shoots on location and family shoots (with multiple families). I did it all, only to eventually discover that I like smaller shoots. Small in the sense of: few people and a lot of connection. In the studio, where you are not dependent on weather conditions, cramped spaces or too much or too little light.

In recent years, boudoir photography my greatest source of pleasure. I am already happy when I have a camera in my hand, but boudoir requires an extra talent. Because how do you make someone feel so comfortable in a short time that she dares to expose herself?

Boudoir photography is an intimate art form that allows people, often women, to embrace and celebrate their bodies. My clients are powerful women between the ages of 20 and 70 who come to me for a variety of reasons. Some are overcoming body insecurities or are proud of their bodies, others are celebrating their strength after a divorce, and still others have overcome an illness. Every story is unique, and every photoshoot is a bold statement of their resilience and beauty.

What sets my photography apart is the all-inclusive experience we provide. From the moment a client books a session, they are treated to a personal and luxurious journey. I work closely with them to ensure they feel comfortable, confident and seen. The goal is to create an environment where they can fully express themselves, and leave the studio after the photoshoot with a renewed sense of self-love and confidence.

Boudoir photography is about more than just taking pictures; it’s about creating a transformative experience. The joy on a client’s face when they see their photos for the first time is priceless. They leave not only with beautiful images, but with a new appreciation for their own beauty and power.

In the world of photography, there are many specializations outside of weddings. From fashion and portraiture to nature and sports, each photographer brings their unique perspective and skills to their work. My focus on boudoir portraiture allows me to connect deeply with my clients and provide them with an unforgettable experience that celebrates their journey and individuality.

If you are considering having a boudoir session, know that it is a powerful way to honor yourself and your story. It is an investment in self-love and empowerment, and I am here to guide you every step of the way
