I have six children and love taking care of others. I don't like being in the spotlight and I think it's fine when others get the attention. Sensuality is showing vulnerability. We heard a beautiful story about Marieke (Mattie and Marieke) on the radio. She went away for a weekend with her boyfriend and had bought a beautiful, romantic outfit. She made herself pretty, put on the outfit, stepped into her heels and called him to ask if he wanted to come to the hotel room. She stood there, nervous as hell in her sexy outfit, waiting for him to knock on the door. Afraid of his reaction ('he might think it's weird, or he might laugh out loud'), because you are so vulnerable at such a moment. Of course he thought it was great. OF COURSE! And now you might think: Yes, logical: Marieke is a beautiful woman. But why don't you think that about yourself? OF COURSE you are a beautiful woman too! You just don't realize it, or not always.
A boudoir shoot is all about you. You don’t even need a super sexy outfit to feel sensual: you just need the right pose, great lighting and the feeling that you can take on the world. Then you are irresistible. No matter your height, age or weight. And feeling amazing MAKES you irresistible. Can you feel how powerful it is to just THINK you would feel that?

For years we have been showing 'ordinary' women that they can be proud of themselves by taking photos that would not look out of place in a luxury magazine. Elegant, sexy, tough, but always classy chic. I am a woman who has lost herself, and have been able to make a whole journey to complete self-acceptance. No fuss: straight forward, and with a touch of self-mockery, I am just happy with who I am, and how I look. It helps me enormously to sometimes dive into the studio and photograph myself to realize that you are still a sensual being after the age of 50. Not a mother, working woman, daughter or partner. But a woman with an inner fire that can be turned off. It can burn, so that everyone can warm themselves with my positive self-image!

How nice is it when you finally feel like going out with your girlfriends again, meeting new people, having fun, and broadening your horizons. In a hectic period in your life, it sometimes takes a while before you find yourself again. Three children, one of whom needs extra care, a divorce, and on top of that a great career. It's a lot to keep all the balls in the air. This beautiful woman has done that for a long time: and she still does. She juggles her time and attention, and is now bursting with energy again. She had lost that in recent years, but there is room again for the social, cheerful woman who had been a bit snowed under.
